KMBA Baseball Academy

Kamloops Minor Baseball's Academy is a high-performance, invite-only program designed to provide elite training opportunities for KMBA athletes. Due to limited facility space, invitations for participation are determined by coaches and/or staff and may be highly selective.

2026/2027 Program Details
KMBA Academy will run from the week of November 2nd to March 5th with a Christmas break. The program will offer two streams: Hitting and Defense. Players may register for one or both streams, each offering 16 weeks of focused, small-group training to support their development on the field.

  • The Hitting program, led by Liam Rihela at Double Play Sports, features personalized hitting plans, HitTrax bio analysis, and video breakdowns.
  • The Defense program, led by Frank Ingram at the Sussex Indoor Facility, places a strong emphasis on pitching development along with other key defensive fundamentals.
